Brits who are facing the threat of repossession due to mounting debt problems should avoid burying their heads in the sand, it has been claimed.
According to Yvonne Goodwin Wealth Management, it is better to face the prospect of having your home repossessed head on by dealing with the root issues.
Managing director Yvonne Goodwin explained that making a list of incomings and outgoings should help those looking to tackle their problems.
This should include the cost of servicing debts, she added, noting that doing so is essential for finding out how big the crisis is.
"If your incoming column is less than your outgoing column, then you have a problem," she said.
"Don't bury your head in the sand, don't leave the envelopes unopened - it won't go away, it will only get worse."
Ms Goodwin added that there are organisations who will provide assistance without passing judgement and the sooner you deal with the issue the quicker you will get back to living your life.
