Repossession Advice
There are a host of specialist companies in the UK, both on the high street and online, that can help those struggling with mortgage arrears and facing the threat of home repossession, ranging from repossession helplines to specialist debt advice centres. These companies best understand how to approach a person’s situation and help them achieve the best possible outcome.
One of the biggest causes of repossession in Britain is "marriage breakdown". In these circumstances both parties are normally advised by their respected legal representatives not to pay the mortgage, which only leads to the property being repossessed and sold for less than the market value. In addition, both parties are blacklisted by their lender and may still need to take care of their solicitors’ fees, only adding to their debt problems. Enlisting help from company that can mediate in these circumstances and explain this may produce a better result for both parties.
